New-fashioned and huge room for movies was enjoyable. The room had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and a microwave oven plus smoke detectors, provided for safety measures. Location: the hotel was next to other local southern Sunshine Coast beaches as well as many eateries...

Portobello was welcoming, by staff and atmosphere.Being peak period the price was very affordable. It was very relaxing and it wasn't far to Australia Zoo and there seemed to be frequent bus services to get to where the attractions were. The beds were comfortable and my husband thought the lounges were great he doesn't like cane furniture. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go again soon .

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Portobello By The Sea. Our spacious three-bedroom apartment was well-equipped and offered stunning sea views. The location was ideal, just steps from Dicky Beach and local shops. While there were a few minor cleanliness details, our overall experience was delightful. Highly recommended for eco-conscious travelers!

My family and friends all booked into several rooms at Portobello by the sea to attend a family funtion. We had small children with us as well. We were all impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and complex. It was a lovely relaxing time for us all.
Its not really a dislike but added to the lovely surround of the area it would have been nice to have a small enclosure where the smaller children could have played.
